Alameda’s newest restaurant – Trabocco Kitchen and Cocktails – opened on November 18th at South Shore Center. Owners Christine Naish Naccarelli, an Alameda Civic Ballet board member for many years, and husband, Chef Giuseppe Naccarelli, organized a special pre-opening dinner on Friday, November 15th exclusively for supporters of the Alameda Civic Ballet. Guests sampled a multi-course dinner featuring foods from Giuseppe’s home region of Abruzzo and accompanying wines. On the menu was an assortment of ‘stuzzichini’ (small nibbles) followed by a choice of an appetizer or a salad. For the next course, guests had a choice of a pasta or a meat entree. And, for dessert – Tiramisu! One hundred percent of donations went to Alameda Civic Ballet to support ACB’s Nutcracker ballet production.
