Applause from OT: OpenTable, the online restaurant reservations system, released its 2014 Diners’ Choice Award winners for the Top 100 Neighborhood Gems in America — local faves that enjoy a following. Several restaurants in the greater Bay Area cracked the list, including Trabocco in Alameda, Lou’s Village in San Jose, Osmanthus in Oakland, The Pastaria in Los Gatos and Gusto in San Carlos. The OpenTable awards reflect the combined opinions of more than five million diner-penned restaurant reviews for 19,000 restaurants across the country.
